WHAT TO KNOW: HYDRAFACIAL® EDITION


Pre-Treatment

  1. Avoid any injectable treatments: Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Jeauveu, Xeomin, etc) Filler (Juvederm, Restylane, etc), and Biostimulators (Sculptra) 2 weeks prior to your hydrafacial treatment.
  2. Avoid any medical grade chemical peels 30 days prior.
  3. Avoid any facial wax or sugaring 5-7 days prior.
  4. Avoid any Pulsed light (IPL/BBL) Laser or Resurfacing treatment to the face 2 weeks prior.
  5. Avoid the use of any actives on your skin (Retinol, Retinaldehyde, Retinoids, AHA, BHA, Salicylic acid, Glycolic acid, Lactic acid, and Mendelic acid) for 2 weeks prior.
  6. No active sunburn, facial rash, or infection at the time of your treatment.
  7. No active cold sores within 2 weeks prior. Clients prone to cold sores may need anti-viral medication 72 hours prior to their hydrafacial treatment.



Post-Treatment:

  1. Depending on your skin sensitivity you may experience temporary mild irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours.
  2. You may experience mild tingling in the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within a few hours
  3. You will see results immediately after treatment and your skin may feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks with appropriate home care to maintain treatment results.
  4. The skin is more susceptible to sunburn/sun damage. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 40 sunscreen.
