WRINKLE RELAXERS

Neuromodulators "Botox"

Neuromodulators, commonly referred to as “tox” and best known as the brand name Botox, are among the most popular non-surgical treatments for reducing wrinkles caused by facial expressions. These treatments are FDA-approved injectable treatments that temporarily relax facial muscles, softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition to smoothing existing lines, neuromodulators can help prevent new wrinkles from forming, resulting in a refreshed, smoother, and more youthful appearance. Treatments are tailored to each patient’s goals, unique facial anatomy, and expression patterns to create results that are natural, balanced, and refreshed.

WHAT TO EXPECT: BOTOX EDITION

During Your Treatment:

  1. Treatment begins with a consultation to discuss your personal medical history, your aesthetic goals, and evaluate your facial movements to curate a treatment plan unique to you
  2. The process starts with a thorough cleanse of the area ( Topical numbing cream can be used if desired, but is not necessary as most clients are able to tolerate the brief injection process with minimal discomfort)
  3. We will ask you to make a variety of facial expressions to determine the precise areas to treat
  4. We use a small fine needle syringe to inject the neuromodulator into the desired location
  5. Treatments are usually brief and generally well tolerated

Post-Treatment Care:

  1. Post-Treatment instructions will be reviewed with you at your time of visit and provided to you in writing
  2. You may notice some results in as early as 2-4 days with full results taking effect 2 weeks after treatment
  3. Results last on average 3-4 months and factors such as lifestyle and consistency can affect the duration of your treatment.
  4. We recommend a 2 week follow up appointment to discuss your results and address any questions or concerns you may have. This is a free service and includes a touch up of 2-4 units if needed.
